Privacy Policy

1Who we are

Adventures of the Honeycomb Heroes ("the Game," "the App") is developed and published by Red Piston Inc. ("Red Piston," "we," "us," "our"), a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. Character and environment art for the Game was created in collaboration with the artist The Haunted Zoo.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Game handles information. It applies to the Game on every platform where we distribute it, including the Apple App Store and Google Play.

By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not download or use the Game.

2Information we collect

We collect nothing. The Game does not request, gather, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal information or device information whatsoever.

To be specific, the Game does not collect any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
• Account credentials, usernames, or sign‑in information of any kind
• Payment or billing information
• Photos, contacts, calendar entries, microphone audio, or camera input
• Precise or approximate location data
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID), or IP addresses
• Usage analytics, gameplay telemetry, session lengths, or heat maps
• Crash logs or diagnostic reports gathered by us
• Any information that could be used to identify or contact you

The Game contains no third‑party software development kits (SDKs), no analytics libraries, no advertising libraries, no social media integrations, and no tracking pixels or beacons. Because we collect no information, there is no database of players and nothing about you for us to lose, leak, sell, or hand over.

3Data stored on your device

Anything the Game needs in order to work — such as your progress, level completion, or sound and settings preferences — is written only to local storage on your own device. This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to Red Piston or to anyone else, and is not readable by us.

You can erase all of it at any time by deleting the Game from your device. Uninstalling the App removes its local data completely.

4No advertising, no purchases, no monetization

The Game is entirely free. It contains:

• No advertisements of any kind — no banners, interstitials, rewarded videos, offer walls, or sponsored content
• No advertising networks or mediation partners, and therefore no ad‑based profiling or retargeting
• No in‑app purchases, virtual currency, loot boxes, or subscriptions
• No paywalls, energy timers, or paid unlocks

We do not sell, rent, trade, license, or otherwise share any information with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party — because we hold none to share. This is true under every definition of "sell" and "share," including those in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

5App stores and platform providers

You obtain the Game through an app store operated by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Those companies operate independently of Red Piston and are governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.

When you download, install, update, or review an app, the store platform may process information such as your account details, download and purchase history, device model and operating system version, and aggregate crash or performance statistics. This happens between you and the platform. We do not control it, we do not direct it, and we do not receive any personal information from it — at most, a platform may show us anonymous, aggregated counts such as total downloads, which cannot identify any individual player.

6Children's privacy

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under the age of 13.

That said, the Game collects no personal information from anyone, at any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies under the GDPR or comparable law), and we have no mechanism by which we could. The Game contains no advertising, no in‑app purchases, no chat or messaging features, no user‑generated content, no social sharing, and no external links inside gameplay.

We believe this design meets the requirements of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent protections elsewhere. If you are a parent or guardian and you have any question or concern about the Game, please contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.

7Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and Quebec's Law 25. These typically include the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Because the Game collects and holds no personal information, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, restrict, or delete on request — and no profiling or automated decision‑making takes place. You are welcome to contact us to confirm this at any time, and we will reply in writing.

If you have a concern we have not resolved, residents of the EU or UK may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority, and residents of Canada may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8International use and data transfers

Red Piston Inc. operates from Canada, and the Game is available in multiple countries. Because no personal information is collected or transmitted by the Game, no international transfer of your personal information occurs when you play.

9Security and retention

The strongest privacy protection is not collecting information in the first place, and that is the approach we have taken. We retain no player data, so there is no retention period to state, no player database to secure, and no personal information that could be exposed in a breach of our systems.

Data the Game saves locally is protected by your device's own security features, such as your passcode, biometric lock, and the operating system's app sandbox. We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.

10Links to other websites

The Game itself contains no links out to third‑party websites during gameplay. Our store listings and this page may link to sites we do not operate, such as redpiston.com or the app stores. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any site we do not operate, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a feature to the Game or if the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version here.

If we ever make a material change — in particular, if a future version of the Game begins collecting any information at all — we will make that clear in the updated policy and in the app store release notes before the change takes effect. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
